To join HWBKA come to our next meeting!  The meetings are usually on the last Friday of the month – September through to May (not December). Alternatively you may contact the association by email (contact@hwbka.co.uk).

Standard membership costs between £30 and £40 per year for beekeeping members. This includes insurance, membership of the British Beekeeping Association (BBKA) and the Bucks County Bee Keeping Association.  Please see the membership form.

There are reduced rates for partner beekeepers and non-beekeepers who would like to be kept in touch with bees and beekeeping.

Membership benefits include a reduction in the subscription rate to “Bee Craft” and “Beekeepers’ Quarterly” magazines, help and advice on beekeeping matters, and free admission to our monthly general meetings, our “Developing Your Beekeeping” meetings, the annual “Basic Assessment training course”, apiary meetings and other training events.

We have two honey extractors and a wax extractor available for loan, and an extensive library of useful and some rare books on beekeeping.

Third party insurance is provided through the BBKA, and disease insurance through BDI,

Non-members are welcome at our Friday meetings.  We meet at Trinity United Reformed Church, London Road, High Wycombe, Bucks. HP11 1BJ.   See map

At our Friday meetings we usually invite a guest speaker to talk to our members on a particular beekeeping topic.  Tea and coffee is served and there is a good selection of home made cakes too!
