High Wycombe Beekeepers Association

The beginners’ course for 2012
will start on Thursday 23rd February
Venue is the Trinity URC Church, London Road,
High Wycombe HP11 1BJ

Parking is available in the adjacent car park (free in evening).

There will be six classroom sessions on consecutive weeks.
Start time 7.15pm. Finish 10.00pm.
Interval refreshments are provided.
Practical sessions will follow in April and May.

Ideal for anyone wanting to take up beekeeping who knows little or nothing about the subject. You will learn the all the essentials needed for keeping bees.
Experienced Beekeepers will be on hand to discuss aspects of beekeeping on an individual basis. After some practical apiary experience working with bees under the guidance of an experienced beekeeper you should be confident to handle your own bees. Protective bee suits are provided for the practicals.
The cost of the course is £85.
This includes:

• course notes
• a book about beekeeping
• full membership of the HWBK association
• Full membership of the national BBKA
• Also including bee insurance
