We have a meeting this Tuesday 10th September at 7.30 pm in the back hall at Trinity Church, High Wycombe HP11 1BJ.
Although we’re still getting a few warm days, it’s noticeable how the nights are drawing in, which is a sure sign that the colder weather will soon be with us again. The bees are now preparing for the winter months ahead, so our meeting this month will concentrate on how the bees prepare for the winter, and what we beekeepers should be doing to ensure they overwinter successfully and come out next year as strong colonies. A bee colony can easily die out over winter, but this can often be avoided with good winter preparation.
Refreshments available, hope you can make it.
