Making Mead to Drink and Show
Claire will tell us about her approach to mead making. In a brief demonstration, Claire will show us how it is possible to make our own batch of mead by making a 5L demijohn of mead during her presentation. To show us the result, Claire is bringing along some samples of her own mead for us all to try.
Claire O’Brien is a BBKA Show Judge, an Apimondia & National Honey Show Mead Judge 2025 and Mead Madness Cup Judge 2026.
Claire enjoys drinking mead, making mead, entering mead competitions and judging mead from all over the world.
